This Privacy Policy explains what Blink ("we", "us") collects and how we use it when you use startblinking.com.

What we collect

Account info from Google sign-in: your name and email address.
The first name you enter, shown to your matches.
Video & audio recordings of your calls, plus still snapshots used for safety review.
Reports you submit and any snapshot captured with them.
Basic technical data needed to run the Service (e.g. connection info).

How we use it

To match you with other users and run the video chat.
To monitor and moderate calls for safety and to enforce our rules.
To edit and publish clips on Blink's social media and other promotional channels.
To prevent abuse and to ban users who break the rules.

Recording & publishing

Every call is recorded. Recordings may be reviewed, edited, and posted publicly on Blink's social accounts. By using Blink you consent to this. You can request removal of a clip featuring you at support@startblinking.com.

Who we share with

We share data with service providers that help us run Blink (e.g. hosting, content-moderation tools) and with law enforcement where required by law. We don't sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep recordings and account data for as long as needed to operate Blink, keep it safe, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data (see below), subject to legal limits.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your personal data, and ask us to remove clips featuring you, by emailing support@startblinking.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Children

Blink is strictly 18+. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we report child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities (e.g. NCMEC). If you believe a minor is using Blink, contact us immediately.

Cookies

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and run the Service. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post the new date at the top.
